A contractor let is a furnished home let to people working away from home: engineers, tradespeople and project teams, usually booking a week or more at a time. They want a bed each, parking, good Wi-Fi and a proper kitchen, and a group of workers would rather share one house than book several hotel rooms.
We’re based in Saltney Ferry, on the edge of Chester, and there is steady work demand across the towns we cover. In Ellesmere Port, much of it comes from contractors working at Stanlow and the industrial sites around it. In Chester, the university and the Countess of Chester Hospital bring visiting staff and contractors through the week. Warrington sits by the M6, M62 and M56, between Manchester and Liverpool, which brings business travellers and contractors.

What is a contractor let?
A furnished home let to people working away from home, such as engineers, tradespeople and project teams, usually for a week or more at a time. They want a bed each, parking, good Wi-Fi and a proper kitchen rather than a city-centre location.
Is my house suitable for a contractor let?
Most two- to four-bed houses with parking are. We'll tell you honestly in your free projection, including anything you'd need to add first.
Contractor let or holiday let: which works better?
It depends on the town and the property. Around Ellesmere Port, weekday work demand is usually the bigger opportunity, while in Chester leisure guests add weekends and holidays. Often the best approach is to take both, with weekly and monthly rates for working guests alongside nightly ones, and we'll model it for your property.
How and when do I get paid?
On the same date every month, by bank transfer, with a statement showing gross booking revenue, operating costs, our management fee and your payout. You can also log in to the owner dashboard at any time to see live bookings and earnings.
